Volunteer Signup for Bikes For Bluejays Ride 2025

(1) Volunteer Opportunities -- Please select any of the options below to choose a volunteer opportunity.

(2) Volunteer T-shirt -- To help distinguish you as a volunteer, and as small token of appreciation for your time, Lake Gaston Outfitters is providing a FREE Unisex fit T-Shirt to our volunteers.
- Please indicate desired size.
- Please wear your T-shirt when you are volunteering.

(3) No Rider Discount -- There are a number of volunteer positions that the timing also allows you to ride the event, but, as this is a fundraiser for the students at Littleton Academy, there is no rider discount for volunteering.

Stage and setup tents & tables, chairs, A/V equipment, etc.
Be ready to help with anything you are asked to do.

Hand out t-shirts and packets for registered riders who were not able to pick up packets at Lake Gaston Outfitters before the event. Register walk ups using the computer or guiding the rider through the online registration process (they should be able to register with their phones). Once done, and they show their receipt, you can give them their rider packet and shift (if available). Please note you may be handling financial transactions ie credit card swipes, etc so please be comfortable with this.

Transport gear to the rest stop, setup, maintain, cheer, hand out food. Clean up, pack out any trash, break down rest stops after the last rider is out.

MUST have a bike rack on vehicle.
Drive route, be available to assist riders with mechanical breakdowns or bring them back to the start.
In addition, may be needed to help transport food and water to other stops etc.

Ride the assigned route and stay behind the last rider, notify rest stop and Ride Organizer when last rider through.

Break down tents, fold up and organize tables and chairs, throw away garbage, clean out and dry coolers.
